We've got a weekend guide filled with music, theater, film, fine art and beer.
No matter what your interests are, surely there is something on Saline’s agenda that will be just the right fit. So, get out Saline! Have some summer fun!

Where/When: Thursday through Saturday, July 14-16 at the Ellen Ewing Performing Arts Center at Saline High School, 1300 Campus Parkway. Shows start at 7 p.m. and doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Why Go: Saline Varsity Blues is an award-winning show choir made up of cast members in grades 1-12. The Disney Mania show will feature hit tunes from Disney films past and present, so audience members of all ages will relate.
Cost: $12 at the door, $10 advanced tickets can be purchased at Busch’s, Saline Community Ed. and Bemis Farms Preschool.
When/Where: Thursday, July 14 on S. Ann Arbor Street, just south of Michigan Ave. in downtown Saline. The concert starts at 7 p.m.
Why Go: This week enjoy the sounds of Time Machine, an eight-member dance band. 212 Art on the Go Van with activities and the Main Street Program information booth.
Cost: Free.
When/Where: 10 a.m., Sunday, July 17 at Dan’s Downtown Tavern, 103 E. Michigan Ave. in downtown Saline.
Why Go: Ever wonder how to get into the art of beer making? Well here is your chance. People of any experience level are welcome.
Cost: Free.
When/Where: 6:30 - 11 p.m. Friday July 15, at Mill Pond Park, 865 W. Bennett St. in Saline. (Or all night for campers.
Why Go: See "Monsters Vs. Aliens" on the big screen, while hanging out outdoors. Bouncers and inflatables, refreshments and music are just some of the activities before the show. Also, it is Family Camp Out night. Call Saline Recreation Center for a permit 734-429-3502.
Cost: Free or $10 for a camping permit
Where/When: 7 p.m. Friday, July 15 at Two Twelve Arts Center, 216 W. Michigan Ave. in Saline
Why Go: View a collection titled “Short Stories” by artist Mike Hahn, mingle and meet the artist.
Cost: Free.
