Weekend Planner: Parties! On the Green, At the Corner And In The Street

The end of July seems to be bringing out the party animals! Here are some things to do for any age party-goer!



Where/When: Thursday, July 28 from 7-9 p.m. on South Ann Arbor Street in downtown Saline.

Why Go: This week’s featured band is The Six Foot Poles with their classic rock-n-roll tunes! Put your dancing’ shoes on for this one! 212 Art Van On the Go will have painting for the kids.

Cost: Free.



When/Where:  Thursday, July 28 8 p.m.-midnight at Wings, Pizza & Things, 6877 State St., in front of Wal-Mart in Pittsfield Township.

Why Go: Good food, drinkspecials for the ladies and an open microphone to sing the night away. Plus, with all the TVs in there, you won’t miss the game.

Cost: No cover.



When/Where:  Friday, July 29 from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. at The Fifth Corner Teen Center, 211 Willis Rd. in Saline.

Why Go: Hang out with friends all night long, play video games and pool, eat pizza and snacks.

Cost: $15.



When/Where: Friday, July 29 at 6:30pm, Saline District Library, 555 N. Maple Rd. in Saline.

Why Go:  Stories and songs for babies ages 24 months and under, along with their caregivers.

Cost: Free.

5.  Knights of Columbus Golf Outing (and Party)

When/Where: Sunday, July 30 at 1 p.m. at the Brookside Golf Course, 6451 Saline-Ann Arbor Rd.

Why Go: 18 holes of golf, use of cart, food, drinks and prizes! Oh, and you're supporting a group that does a lot of good work in the community.

Cost: $40
