The Huron Collectors Gun Show

• When: 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, and 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday
• Pricing: $6 admission
• Why Go: The Huron Collectors Gun Show makes its way to the Washtenaw Farm Council Grounds this weekend. Check out the latest in all things gun-related.

Live Music at Lighthouse Coffee

• Where: Lighthouse Coffee Company, 9 W. Main, Milan
  
• When: 7 p.m. Saturday
• Pricing: No cover, but donations appreciated
• Why Go: Enjoy a night of live music at Lighthouse Coffee Company. Tonight's act is Kelsey Rottiers.

Family Friendly Film Series

• Where: Michigan Theater, 603 W. Liberty, Ann Arbor
• When: 1:30 p.m. Sunday
• Pricing: Free for kids 12 and younger, or $7.50-$10 otherwise
• Why Go: Enjoy a family friendly film at the Michigan Theater. Hang out on a cold January afternoon with Kermit, Miss Piggy and the gang as they star in 1979's The Muppets Movie.

More events

• Blood drive: Not exactly an event of great excitement, but it's definitely important. An hour of your time can save up to three lives. It's going on from noon-6 p.m. Friday at Bill Crispin Chevrolet.f
• Detroit Moose vs. Red Wings Alumni. The puck drops at 5 p.m. at Arctic Edge Ice Arena in Canton. $15 gets you a night of great hockey and helps the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
