Kids Night Out
- Where: Saline Recreation Center
- When: 5-10 p.m. today
- Pricing: $25 members/$35 non-members
- Why Go: Make it a date night, a "me" night or take time for holiday shopping by signing the kids, ages 5-12, a night at the recreation center. They'll enjoy games, movies, crafts, pizza and more. Don't forget to pack their athletic shoes, bathing suit and towel.
Family Movie Night
- Where: Pleasant Ridge Elementary School
- When: 6-8 p.m. today
- Pricing: Free movie; concessions are 50 cents to $1
- Why Go: Pack a blanket and a pillow and bring the family down to Pleasant Ridge for a movie night. (Tonight's feature is Cars 2.) You can buy pizza slices, hot dogs, candy, soda or water for $1 apiece, or popcorn for 50 cents.
Winter Farmers Market
- Where: Liberty School
- When: 9 a.m.-noon Saturday
- Pricing: Free
- Why Go: How many places can boast they have a winter market? Now in its second year, this batch of vendors -- now numbering more than 30 -- sets up camp each week to sell produce, handmade goods, baked goods and more. Perfect for helping you set your table, finding little gifts and goodies, and more.

- The Holiday Art Sale continues at , 10 a.m.-6 p.m. today and Saturday. Shop for locally made arts and crafts and enjoy free gift wrapping.
- Kids Christmas Make-and-Take, at Children ages 3 and up (with a parent or caregiver) can make a craft project. One-hour intervals available, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, $5 per child per hour. Call to reserve your spot. 734-429-2900.
