Weekend Countdown: 'Bernhardt on Broadway'
Peer into the life of eccentric and legendary actress Sarah Bernhardt.
We're at the midway point of a quiet January week, eagerly anticipating the weekend. To help you plan we offer little event goodies every day leading up to Friday-Saturday-Sunday fun. On Monday we jumped the gun a bit and suggested Thursday's sauerkraut supper at the American Legion.
Today we present to you (with a flourish):
Bernhardt on Broadway
- Where: The Towsley Auditorium at Washtenaw Community College, 4800 E. Huron River Drive, Ann Arbor
- When: 2 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday
- Pricing: $25; a dinner option at Haab's Restaurant may be added for an additional $10. Call 734-483-8200 for tickets.
- Why Go: See Carol Dunitz bring the legendary and eccentric stage actress Sarah Bernhardt to life. Dunitz wrote the play, score and lyrics to this one-woman show, and plays "The Divine Sarah" as well.
Check back with us again tomorrow for more weekend things-to-do.
