On his blog, Superintendent Scot Graden wrote about Thursday's weather events. Graden praised Dexter Superintendent Mary Marshall for her quick planning and execution following the storm. He also expressed his appreciation for the emergency response workers from the area. And, Graden shared how Saline Area Schools reacted to the tornado warning in the middle of parent-teacher conferences.

In Saline, our administrators & staff worked to secure the buildings during parent/teacher conferences to protect the parents, students, and fellow staff.  They did an excellent job of communicating with each other & law enforcement, taking appropriate cover, and then getting everyone home when it was safe.
