Moonlight Madness Craft Show This Friday
Event will showcase goods made by crafters from Michigan, Ohio and Illinois.
More than 150 craft vendors will showcase their goods during the Moonlight Madness Craft Show this Friday from 5 p.m. until 11 p.m. at Saline Middle School 7190 N. Maple Rd, in Saline.
Michigan Crafter Magazine named Saline’s craft shows the best in Michigan. Crafters come from Michigan and surrounding states to offer shoppers a chance to find rare gifts you might not find at the bog box stores.
“Products are designed, made and displayed by the individual crafters and available at affordable prices,” said Moonlight Madness Promoter Cheryl Hoeft. “Artist will showcase their most recent and exceptional work from throughout Michigan, Illinois and Ohio.”

Saline resident Peggy Ernst said she has been attending the show since 2004 and looks forward to the event each year. “I love it,” she said. “I find the best gifts plus it puts me in the mood for holiday spirit especially when you share it with friends.”
"Shoppers can find a variety of goods from personalized items to ceramics, clothing and stoneware ,” said Hoeft. The show also offers steel arts, linens, artwork, jewelry, stained glass, clothing, woodcrafters, painted glass, photography, seasonal items and much more.

Goodies like caramel apples, specialty dips, spices, breads, candy and fudges will be plentiful. A bake sale for homemade goodies like brownies, cookies and other baked goods will be operated by Saline students.
“Throughout the show students and athletes of Saline Schools will be present at a concession stand, bake saleand other activities,” said Hoeft. “This school activity will serve as a money making activity for the organizations of Saline Area Schools to promote citizenship and leadership at their school. There will be Christmas greens and flowers, bake sale and concessions.”
Special events like Holiday Tea, cookie walk gingerbread house display and holiday food preparation is also offered to visitors.
No strollers are permitted and admission is $2. Parking is free. The event is sponsored by Saint Joseph Mercy Health System and Great Lake Educational Group.
