Mom's Talk: Spring Fever

How do parents keep kids focused once spring fever sets in?

If it is Wednesday on Patch.com, it is time for Moms Talk!  Welcome to a growing community conversation that gets parents talking about the different issues they face everyday.

Each Wednesday afternoon, a different topic is introduced for discussion.  Parents are invited to make comments, advise other parents and answer questions that are posted, or ask their own question for someone else to answer.  Moms Talk is about parents using their greatest resource--other parents!

This week we are talking about Spring Fever. One week of warm weather has kids in a tizzy to break free out into the sunshine.  The first day of Spring is upon us this week, but we still need to find ways to keep our kids focused.

What do you do to help kids get the wiggles out, but still take care of business?  Spring Break is right around the corner, but it is assessment time at school. How do we cure the cabin fever and keep our kids on track with homework and other responsibilities? Do you schedule in outdoor time? Offer extra incentives?
