Loverboy is a Friendly Old Cat in Need of a Home

Loverboy is one of of many adoptable cats and dogs at the Humane Society of Huron Valley

Loverboy is indeed a loving, handsome gentleman, who is befitting of his name! He's a 12-year-old, brown and black, short-haired tabby mix who is ready for adoption at the Humane Society of Huron Valley.

Loverboy was dropped off at the shelter with a Urinary Tract Infection that hadn’t been untreated for far too long. He was uncomfortable and sick and it took proper medical attention and good care for the staff and volunteers to really see what a great cat he is. He is a big boy with a most lovely coat and he will do one of these three things upon meeting you:

  • Purr at you
  • Rub on his cage bars; or
  • Bump his big head into your hand to get you to keep petting him.

His sweet ways are sure to win you over. As a senior kitty, he may need a little adjustment period in his new home but from everything we see at HSHV, he will be an affectionate cat who will love attention. Please consider adopting a senior cat – you will be saving a life.
