Writer Sheila Pursglove profiles Two Twelve Arts Center's Artist of the Month. She'll have a reception from 7 to 9 p.m. Sept. 9 at Two Twelve Arts.

Ladies Day at the Saline Community Fair

Friday is Ladies Day at the Saline community Fair. Ladies (11 and older) get in for $5 until 1 p.m. The day's highlights include a youth horse show at 9 a.m., a Ladies Day program on the stage at 1 p.m., motorcross practice at 5 p.m., youth horse championship at 6 p.m., Saline's Got Talent at 6 p.m., motorcross at 7 p.m., and a concert by the Fiddlers ReStrung at 7:30 p.m.'
