The Weather

Weather.com calls for mostly sunny skies with a high of 85 and a 10 percent chance of rain. The sun will rise at 6:46 a.m. and set at 8:30 p.m. The forecast looks pretty good for the weekend, too, with a high of 86 and isolated thunderstorms Saturday, and a high of 80 with sunshine Sunday.

The defending state champion Girls’ Swim and Dive team is holding a car wash Saturday to support the upcoming season. The car wash takes place from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the 205 E. Michigan Ave.

As far as sports team fundraisers go, it doesn’t get classier or imaginative than the third annual Great Gatsby Regatta, a fundraising gala that benefits the Saline Crew teams. The festivities take place from 6:30 to 10 p.m. Tuesday at the Hoyt-Ford Building on 600 W. Michigan Ave. People will be dressed up in Roaring Twenties attire. There will be antique cars on display. And they’re serving delicious food from Mac’s Acadian Seafood and wine from Spotted Dog Winery. .

Today's Good Morning Saline greeting was given by the Saline Girls' Swim and Dive team, which is doing a car wash Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Saline Area Fire Department.
