Today, the voters in the City of Saline will elect three members of city council. Voters in the Saline Area Schools District will elect two trustees. Polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m.

Here are the voting locations:

Pittsfield Township (Included in Precinct 9) — Pittsfield Township Community Center, 701 W. Ellsworth

Bridgewater Township — Bridgewater Township Hall, at Braun and Clinton roads.

Freedom Township — Freedom Township Hall, 11508 Pleasant Lake Rd.

Tracking The Hornets

If you missed it, the Saline Hornets cross country teams had another big day at the Michigan International Speedway Saturday. The, falling to Grosse Point South by just five points. Abby Rentschler, Lauren Green and Amy Creutz made the all-state team. The as Nick Renberg and Spencer Bishop made tha all-state team. The girls swim and dive team, meanwhile with a victory in the SEC meet at Skyline Friday and Saturday.

Mayor Driskell: Loitering Welcome in the City of Saline

Saline Mayor Gretchen Driskell has an interesting blog at concentratemedia.com. She's posted about downtown development, a commuter train line between Ann Arbor and Detroit, and the threat Saline faces if personal property taxes are eliminated.
