Good Morning Saline

Today's Good Morning Saline greeting is given by the seven members of the Saline varsity cross country team who won the regional at Lake Erie Metropark Saturday. It was the team's fourth straight regional championship. In the video are Dylan Jennings, Logan Wetzel, Nick Renberg, Spencer Bishop, Grant Praschan, Andrew Kitto and Anthony Lamus. They're at the state meet Saturday at the Michigan International Speedway.

Teacher Writes About Her Superhero

Sometimes you don't need a halloween costume to be a hero. Claudia Whitsitt, a fifth grade teacher of special education at Heritage Elementary School, authored this powerful story about one of her students who accomplished some remarkable things in the face of significant obstacles during fifth grade camp last week. Whitsitt, an author of mystery and suspense novels, will be doing a book reading from her novel at the at 1 p.m. Sunday in support of the reading curriculum campaign.

Tracking The Hornets

The Saline varsity volleyball team travels all the way to Bedford to face off against Milan in district action at 5:30 p.m. today. The winner plays Bedford Thursday.
