It was a festive weekend in Saline, filled with arts, music, food and culture. Oktoberfest and Harvest of the Arts activities turned downtown Saline into a playground for families. Law Resigns from Saline City Council

On Friday, longtime Saline City Council member to take an elementary teaching job in Menominee. Law is the second council member to leave his post this year for work in another town. Pat Ivey resigned to take a job in Colorado. Law's resignation leaves four council members in the race for three seats in November. Running are Linda TerHaar, Jim Peters, Jim Roth and John Heller.

Question of the Day

Friday, we asked people if they knew CPR. There were 36 votes. 28 people voted yes.

Today we ask if the Mayor and City Council should appoint a replacement for Glenn Law, who resigned from council Friday. City Council has two meetings in October before voters fill the seat in November.
