Get Out: Bikes, Antiques, Music and More

Don't know what to do this weekend? Here are some terrific ideas on a budget!

Looking for something to do this weekend?  Patch is coming to the rescue.  This is the place each week to find the best route around town, meeting all your entertainment needs.

1.  W4 Country Bubba’s Firehouse Friday
    
Where/When:  100 N. Harris, behind City Hall, in Saline, Friday, May 13, from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m.
Why Go:  Bubba and his crew from W4 country will be broadcasting live in Saline to salute the Saline Firefighters.  There will be tables with refreshments, W4 promotional items and all kinds of goodies from the Saline D.A.R.E. program.  Come out and meet Bubba!
Pricing: FREE

2.  Tour of Washtenaw Bike Race and Expo

Where /When:  South Ann Arbor Street in downtown Saline, Saturday May 14, 10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m..
Why Go:  Hundreds of cyclists with ride their way around a 55 mile loop in Washtenaw County, ending in downtown Saline.  An Expo will be held in the parking lot at S. Ann Arbor St. and Henry St. that will include a multitude of vendors and activities for the entire family.
Pricing:  Racer registration is $50 but the Expo is FREE.

3.  Ann Arbor Antiques Market

When/Where:  Washtenaw County Fairgrounds, 5055 Ann Arbor-Saline Rd.  Saturday and Sunday May 14-15, 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m..
Why Go:  Antiques galore in comfortable surroundings-7 buildings- good in any weather.
Pricing:  $6


When/Where:  , 13855 Plank Rd. in Milan, Sunday May 15th, 2:30 - 4:30 p.m.
Why Go:  Music, Religious concert all the way from Tennessee, suitable for the whole family.
Pricing:  FREE

5.  Seniors Then and Now
When/Where:  , 7200 Moon Rd. (State and Michigan Ave.), Sunday May 15, 1:00 PM - 3:30 PM
Why Go:  A fun afternoon in honor of Senior Citizens!  Free lunch, entertainment, tributes and more.
Pricing:  FREE to all senior citizens
