Case Against MSU Student From Saline on Hold
Brandon Carmack claimed he was assaulted by hockey team; attorneys need time to review police reports and video of the incident.
EAST LANSING - Michigan State University student Brandon Carmack appeared before East Lansing District Judge David Jordon Tuesday morning and through his attorney waived his right to a 14-day waiting period.
Carmack's attorney and Russel Church, 54-B District Court prosecutor, said they needed some time to evaluate a 100-plus page police report as well as "hours of video" before moving forward with the case.
He's been charged with filing a false police report, a felony, and four misdemeanors: two counts of stalking and one count apiece of stalking and domestic violence.
