Sunday was Ag Day at the Saline Community Fair.
From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., moms and dads escorted their children around stations at one of the barns at the fair. At each station, children learned lessons about the role agriculture plays in our daily life — from the food we eat, to the clothes we wear. After going to all the stations, the children went to another barn where they were given locally produced agricultural products, such as apples.
The Saline Community Fair wraps up Monday. Highlights include the tractor pull and carnival.
