32nd Annual Walk & Wag Raises Money for Humane Society of Huron Valley

The day includes a one-mile walk, fun-filled performances, interactive games, contests, food, vendors, kids activities and more.

Local residents and their favorite dogs are invited to join the Humane Society of Huron Valley Saturday for the 32nd Annual Walk & Wag event.

The organization's biggest fundraiser of the year takes place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at County Farm Park, 2230 Platt Rd., Ann Arbor.

The day includes a one-mile walk, fun-filled performances, interactive games, contests, food, vendors, kids activities and more. All proceeds support HSHV programs and services for homeless animals in our community.

"It's a short walk that goes miles and miles for our animals," said Deb Kern, marketing director of the Humane Society of Huron Valley.

All participants in the walk are asked to raise or donate at least $25. Prizes will be awarded to the top three adult fundraisers, top three fundraisers under 18, and top three team fundraisers. Winners will be announced at the event.
