Eagle Project in Curtiss Park

Jacob Douglas, an Eagle Scout Candidate recently completed his project work as part of his service requirement for the Boy Scouts of America.  On Oct.12th the finishing touches were put on an Information Kiosk installed at Curtiss Park. The Kiosk is one of three which exist on city  property..

The other two located at the Rec Center and Community Gardens  respectively.  The project at Curtiss Park features a lockable display case,

which will be used for park and community announcements. Work on the project began last fall with proposals to the Parks and Recreation Committee and Saline City Council.  Funds were obtained through a “pop can” drive and donations.
