Winter Break at the Rec Center

The Saline Rec Center is a great gathering place for winter break activities.

Winter break is just around the corner.  This year, Saline Area School students are on break from December 23 – January 8.  The Rec Center is a great place for families, teens and adults to come play, meet up with friends and burn off those holiday calories.

Unfortunately not everyone has a break.  Some people still have to work.  If you are a working parent, you might consider sending your child to Winter Camp at the Rec Center.  Campers ages 5-12 swim almost daily, go on a weekly field trip, play games, make crafts, explore, make friends, participate in group challenges and so much more!  Camp runs 12/23, 12/26-12/30 & 1/2-1/6.  Registration is flexible: register by the week or by the day.  Click on KIDSCAMP for more details.

The Rec Center is great for family time. Bring the family for open swim or
open gym.  Children 9 and under must be accompanied by an adult.  The
Rec Center is open Monday-Friday 6am-9pm, Christmas Eve 8am-1pm and New Years Eve 8am-1pm.  We are closed Christmas Day and New Years Day.

If you are a teenager or home from college, the Rec Center is a great place to meet up with your friends over break.  You can play basketball, swim in the pool or work out.  Those ages 12-15 must have adult supervision when using the cardio and nautilus fitness rooms.  You must be 16 years or older to use the free weight room.
