The 2011 Great Pumpkin Roll was a smashing, pumpkin gut slinging success.
The 2011 Great Pumpkin Roll was a smashing, pumpkin gut slinging success. Over 100 participants rolled 200 pumpkins down the hill at Mill Pond Park. Then, they slung pumpkins through the air with the infamous pumpkin launcher. Finally Parks & Rec Staff composted 2 tons of pumpkin guts.
Waste Management sponsored the event. They have been the sole sponsor since the innauguration of the event in 2003.
