Brownie Troop 40380 pulls Garlic Mustard at Wilderness Park

The Saline Parks & Recreation Department would like to thank Troop 40380 for their community service.

Sunday, June 3rd Brownie Troop 40380 led by Dawn Kulczynski, Julie Campbell and Jill Schwartz  pulled garlic mustard for 2 hours in Wilderness Park.  The girls watched an informational video about the invasive garlic mustard http://vimeo.com/2855779  they did a great job of identifying and getting right into the wooded areas to pull out every bit of garlic mustard they could see.

Troop  40380 are Brownies bridging to Juniors this fall, there are 18 girls from 5
different area schools.   The girls will be attending their first camping trip
this July to a Girl Scout Camp.
