Belcan Staffing Solutions is currently looking for people to work in the light industrial sector.

If you're hunting for a job, a new staffing agency that opened in Saline last week might be able to help.

Belcan Staffing Solutions opened at 513 E. Michigan Ave. in the Saline Shopping Center last Monday. Branch manager Shelly Dunn said the company will be hiring employers looking for light industrial, clerical and technical workers.

Currently, Belcan is hard at work finding workers for light assembly work at a manufacturing facility in town.

Wages and benefits for Belcan employees vary based on assignment and location. Dunn said the company offers a “generous” benefits program that often includes health insurance, dental insurance, a 401(k) plan and more.

Many of the companies Belcan staffs for require drug tests and background check.

The Saline office is the third in Michigan, joining branches in Troy and Lansing.  Dunn said the company hopes for a permanent Saline office.

“Going forward, we hope people will see how well we've done and how successful and happy our employees and employers are,” Dunn said.

There are four employees in the Saline office.
