How did your business come to be?: As a music therapist, I first discovered the Music Together curriculum while working with teen parents and their children. I was amazed at how powerful and beautiful it was for families to create music together and also enjoyed similar experiences with my own young daughters. I wanted to share the joy of family music making with others.

What's a fact about your business that most customers probably don't know?: Hand in Hand Music has been voted "Best Music Class" and "Best Program for Preschoolers" by Readers of Ann Arbor Family Press. Classes are offered Monday through Friday at two convenient locations. We also offer very popular evening classes for families who like to attend class with their children after work. The Music Together classes are mixed age classes so that families can attend the same class with all of their children, infants through 5 years.

Hand in Hand Music also specializes in making the Music Together experience accessible to children with special needs.

What services does your business provide?: Hand in Hand Music offers Music Together classes for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers and the adults who love them. Music Together is a research based curriculum that incorporates, singing, movement, and instrument play in fun, play based weekly classes.

What do you want your business to be best known for?: Hand in Hand Music is known as an essential provider of family music classes in this area. Families travel from surrounding communities and counties to attend our classes.

What's your most popular product or service?: The Music Together classes are extremely popular with families in Saline and surrounding communities. Once families discover our classes, they often stay with us for years until all of their children have grown too old for the classes. Each registered family receives the award winning Music Together CDs and Songbook so that the family can enjoy listening to the music outside of the weekly classes.

Why did you choose to locate to the area?: Saline is my home. l love being able to share the joy of family music making with families in this community. The communities of Saline and Ann Arbor have been very supportive of our classes. Families in this area value education and are great supporters of the arts.
