Last year twenty-six RydeOn! clients from around Saline and Ann Arbor participated in the first session of our health and fitness intensive, RydeOn! University. Together, they traveled their separate journeys through three indoor cycling classes a week while trying healthy recipes from Busch's Fresh Food Market and learning from Brigid's online series about the Keys to Success in Health and Fitness.
The program was so successful that we're doing it again starting Sunday, February 3.
This year's RydeOn! U will still feature three weekly indoor cycling classes, awesome prizes to help participants stay motivated, and lots of encouragement from instructors – and, of course, the entire RydeOn! family.
However, this year we're adding a new feature – we have partnered with Eastern Michigan University senior dietetic student Alyssa Waltz to provide RydeOn! U students with individual dietary evaluations and consultations!
After all, the health and fitness journey isn't just about exercise – the energy we burn. It's also about the food we take in, and making sure that the majority of our diet serves our greater goals. Not only that, but pairing exercise with a healthy diet can help prevent or help manage many chronic health issues.
