Introducing RydeOn! U, Part 2 – Now with Dietary Consultations!

Are you ready to commit twelve weeks to taking your health and fitness journey to the next step?

-Brigid Lossing and Christina Turner

Are you ready to commit twelve weeks to taking your health and fitness journey to the next step? Are you just getting started and want to dive right in with a full program committed to helping you reach your goals?

Or are you one of the “graduates” of our first RydeOn! University and want to repeat the great time you had last year?

If you answered “Yes” to one or more of these questions, we've got a treat for you – RydeOn! University, part two! We'll start up again at the beginning of 2013; this twelve-week program is a great way for everyone, particularly beginners, to make and keep their New Year's resolutions well into the spring.

Last year we offered incentives to keep people coming three times a week as well as prizes for the most weight lost and the highest increase in WATTS percentage. We augmented the program with recipes from and a tour of Busch's Fresh Food Market and Brigid's online series, The Keys to Success in Health and Fitness.

This year look for more prizes, encouragement, and tips for your overall health and fitness journey – exercise, diet, and more.

And, as an extra added bonus, we have partnered with Eastern Michigan University senior dietetic student Alyssa Waltz to provide RydeOn! U students with individual dietary evaluations and consultations!

Alyssa, who chose to study nutrition because she's fascinated with how our bodies use food, plans to specialize in sports nutrition after graduation because she is a runner herself and knows that proper nutrition is absolutely essential for athletes to reach their full potential. (Nutrition isn't just important for athletes – research shows that pairing exercise and proper diet is what produces a healthy lifestyle and prevents or helps with the management of many chronic diseases.)

Alyssa is a member of The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and The Southeastern Michigan Dietetic Association. She's excited to work with RydeOn! U students, and we're thrilled to have her!

Stay tuned for more information on RydeOn! U – we can't wait for our next “class”!
