The Worst Things About Getting Ready for School In Saline

The start of the 2013-2014 school year is just around the corner for students in Saline.

The weather is getting cooler and the back-to-school commercials are on a constant loop. Yes, it's that time of the year - time to send the kids back to school.

Patch asked on the Saline Patch Facebook Page what the worst part of going back to school was. Here are your answers and more, in no particular order:

1. "The worst is not having a real list to shop with until days before school starts. Each teacher has their own list of what the kiddos should have for class. It would be very helpful to know what supplies are needed while the big sales are being held in August." - Kelly Driscoll Saiyacork

2. "The worst part about back to school is getting back into routine and starting all of the activities we do throughout the year. I'll miss our lazy summer days!" - Wendy - Disney Vacation Planner for Fairytale Escapes

3. The traffic in the mornings and afternoons around schools when you have to drop-off and pick-up your kids.

4. Homework.

5. Getting kids back on a normal sleep schedule.

6. Back to school shopping.

7. Getting you kids organized and prepared for the start of a new school year.

8. Tuition bills for college students.
