VIDEOSTORY: 2011 Summer Music Series Concludes in Saline

The free concert series concluded for the year with a performance by Ann Arbor's Six Foot Poles.

The 2011 Summer Music Series in downtown Saline concluded Thursday with a free concert by Ann Arbor's Six Foot Poles.

In this video, we talk to a few concert goers, as well as business owners, downtown director Art Trapp and Mayor Gretchen Driskell.

The series moved from Friday to Thursday this year, as organizers hoped to create another busy night for restaurant owners. But Mother Nature scuttled plans a little. The first three concerts of the series were moved to Liberty School because of weather and the last concert was postponed for two weeks because of weather and a power failure.
