Saline New Horizons Band Saline Fair Concert

The Saline New Horizons Band first concert of the year featuring music to attend a fair by will be will be held at 11:15 AM on Friday, August 31 at the Saline Fair which is being held at the Washtenaw Farm Council Ground located at 5055 Ann Arbor Saline Road.

The Band will be performing such favorites as Rawhide, Western Idyl, Nightfall (featuring Jim Pikulski on Alto Sax), A Day at the Fair, Rythmns of the Wind, The Lord of the Dance, The Magnificent Seven, as well as music with a latin beat and a patriotic sing along.

The Saline New Horizons Band was organized in 2004 by Dr. Joseph and Mary Labuta to bring the same experiences to adults in the Saline area.  Were you one of the estimated 15-20 percent of Americans who participated in an elementary and/or high school music program? Many adults would like an opportunity to learn music in a group
setting similar to that offered in schools, but the last entry point in most cases was elementary school. The Saline New Horizons Music programs provide a similar path to music-making for adults. What makes Saline New Horizons special is the opportunity for people to take part in music who have never played...or who haven’t played in many years. Why not come and experience the fun with the
Saline New Horizons Band?
