The Saline New Horizons Band, under the direction Dr. Joseph Labuta, was founded in June of 2004 and is affiliated with 200 other New Horizons Bands in the United States, Canada and overseas music groups. The bands are part of the New Horizons International Music Association (www.newhorizonsmusic.org). This adult band is open to musicians of every level of experience, with many of the members being over 50. Some members have played musical instruments many years ago in school and some are brand new to reading and playing music. The main attracting factor to the band is the opportunity to make good music and good friends.

The band meets for rehearsals on Tuesday evenings from 7:00-8:30 p.m. and on Thursday afternoons from 1:00-2:30 p.m. at the Liberty School Band Room at 7265 Saline-Ann Arbor Road in Saline.
