Who Will Be Miss Saline In 2011?

Outstanding Saline young women, ages 16-21, are invited to enter the annual Miss Saline contest, which is part of the Saline Community Fair.

Miss Saline and her court will receive more than $5,000 in scholarships, savings bonds and gifts donated by area merchants.

To qualify for this community leadership experience, a young woman must participate in an interview, model in an evening gown competition, and display poise during a question-and-answer session.

Contestants must be 16 years old by Aug. 1, 2011. Entries are due by Aug. 1. The Miss Saline Pageant takes place at 8 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 30.

The 2011 Saline Fair takes place Aug. 30 to Sept. 5, at the Washtenaw Farm Council Grounds.
