Get Out: Fun ways to give back to the community
1. Saline Summer Music Series
When/Where: 7p.m. Thursday, South Ann Arbor Street between Michigan Avenue and Henry Street in downtown Saline.
Why Go: Justine Blazer will fire up the crowd with her award-winning country and crossover hits. Also, 212 Art Center will have sidewalk chalk art for the kids.
Cost:Free.
When/Where:10 a.m. to noon Friday at the , 1866 Woodland Dr.
Why Go: This is a garage sale just for kids who want to make their own money selling their own stuff!
Cost: $8 to rent table space. Free to come in and shop.
When/Where: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at Saline Middle School, 7190 N. Maple Rd.

Why Go: Fun run for a good cause! 9-10 a.m. is the half-mile run for kids ages 11 and under, 10 a.m-noon people can run with their pet, from 1-5 p.m. it's $1 per lap. All proceeds go to the Humane Society of Huron Valley.
Cost: $5 to run with a pet.
When/Where: 1-5 p.m. Saturday at New Hairizon Salon, 131 E. Michigan Ave. in downtown Saline.
Why Go: Relay For Life is coming soon to Saline. Profits from haircuts, shampoos and hand massages will go toward the Oxygen Plus Relay For Life Team in Saline.
Cost: $20 for a shampoo and cut and $10 for a hand massage.
Where/When: 3 p.m. Friday, the Fiddlers ReStrung will be performing at the Ann Arbor Street Art Fair, 915 E. Washington St.

Why Go: Stomp your feet to the incredible bluegrass tunes from Fiddlers Restrung. It's a chance to support a Saline musical group as they tour different locations this summer.
