Get your fresh fruits and veggies and locally produced meats and cheeses at the Saline Farmers Market, located in the parking lot off South Ann Arbor Street.

Big Red Barrel Ribbon Cutting
Saturday, 9 a.m., City Hall/Saline Police Department
A community effort to combat prescription drug abuse and help keep the environment safe culminates when the "Big Red Barrel" is unveiled at a ribbon cutting. The barrel, the result of a partnership between several community organizations, will give Saline residents a safe place to dispose of unwanted medicine.

What So Proudly We Hail
Saturday, 11 a.m., Oakwood Cemetery
The community will raise the flag at the new flagpole in Oakwood Cemetery. Local veterans spearheaded the project, which was supported by local businesses.
Blessing of the Animals
Sunday, 11 a.m., Meditation Garden
Bring your leashed or crated pet to Meditation Garden to be blessed Sunday morning. The garden is located next to First Presbyterian Church downtown. The blessing will be given by church member and retired Pastor, the Rev. Peter Boevé.
Chasing Windmills
Sunday, Noon to 5 p.m., Various Locations
Interested in windmills? The Saline Area Historical Society is hosting a free windmill tour. Stops include the Rentschler Farm Museum, the Depot Museum, and Braun Farms.
