‘We Are Newtown’ Remembrance Vigil Reaffirms Call for Common-Sense Gun Laws

Organizing for Action-Washtenaw County is a co-sponsor of the vigil to be held on the one-year anniversary of the Sandy Hook Elementary tragedy.

A Saturday rally on the steps of the Federal Building in Ann Arbor commemorating the one-year anniversary of the Sandy Hook Elementary massacre and reaffirming calls by co-sponsors Organizing for Action-Washtenaw County and the Interfaith Council for Peace & Justice for common-sense gun violence prevention policies.

Also joining as a co-sponsor of the “We Are Newtown Remembrance Vigil” is Ann Arbor Mayor John Heiftje.

The vigil starts at noon. The Federal Building is located at 200 E. Liberty, Ann Arbor.
