VIDEOSTORY: Food, Friends and Fun at the Saline Senior Center Picnic

The held its annual summer picnic Wednesday.

The event drew more than 100 members and guests.

Volunteers from the Saline American Legion Post grilled hot dogs and burgers, and volunteers from the community worked in the kitchen, serving the grilled delights with baked beans and watermelon. Heartland Health Care Center provided ice cream sundaes.

The event was also attended by local government leaders, like Mayor Gretchen Driskell, City Manager Todd Campbell, City Councillor Brian Marl and State Rep. Mark Ouimet.
