VIDEO: Horseplay a Hit at Saline Celtic Festival

One of the popular exhibitions at the Saline Celtic Festival was battled between a mounted Knights from Ireland, Scotland and England.

One of the Saline Celtic Festival's most popular demonstrations was the play-acted competition between the Irish, Scottish and English knights.

Mounted on rescued horses, the colorful knights engaged in competition with their lances before giving the crowd what it really wanted: Fighting.

Suited up in full armor and armed with a shield and lance, the knights engaged in a joust. The English knight was eliminated from comeptition during the joust, leaving the Scottish and Irish knights to battle in a sword fight. The Irish knight struck the Scotsman from his horse and the battle continued on foot, until, beaten, with the Irishman standing on his chest, the Scottish knight yielded.
