Pet of the Week: Handsome Bubba Needs a Home

Help this pet find a "fur-ever" home.

One-year-old Bubba is a Black and Tan Coonhound with an exceptional nose.

In her blog, Deb Kern writes, "This boy has one of the most amazing senses of smell we've ever encountered. (He) has such a great nose, he may even be able to help his family find things that have gone missing."

Kern writes that Bubba will need a home with a fence and yard because he loves to explore with his nose.

"In addition to his looks and skill, Bubba is the epitome of a loyal dog. Once he becomes bonded to someone, he'll love them forever," she writes. "Bubba wasn't lucky enough to receive much training before coming to HSHV, so he's looking for a compassionate owner who will teach him the ways of the world. Training classes are also a great way to further bond with your new companion"

All the animals available for adoption at the Humane Society of Huron Valley (HSHV) are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on their vaccinations and have a microchip I.D. which is included in their adoption fee. HSHV is open 7 days a week for adoptions. Please check the website for current adoption hours at www.hshv.org.
