Recreation supervisor Sunshine Lambert said the decision was made with comfort in mind.

“We want people to come out and see the movie and enjoy the experience. The mosquitoes are as bad as I’ve ever seen them. I don’t think people could have enjoyed themselves at Mill Pond Park,” Lambert said.

Lambert said the Rec Center’s day camp outdoor activities with kids have been scaled back because of the mosquito problem.

The event is sponsored by Saline Parks and Recreation, Gym American Gymnastics and Edward Jones. For more information, call the Rec Center at 429-3502.
