Assisted Living Center Rising on Former School Property

An assisted living facility is being built on former school property in the heart of Saline.

At a site where Salinians once attended youth soccer games, a large new structure is rising. Reenders, Inc. of Grand Haven purchased the land at the corner of N. Maple Road and Woodland Drive from Saline Public Schools to build an assisted living facility.

Linden Square Assisted Living Center will be built in two phases, and the $9 million first phase is well underway.

The facility will offer residents daily meals, housekeeping services, laundry and specialized care. It will also cater to residents with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.
