TIME TO ENROLL FOR SUMMER, FALL QUARTERS AT BAKER COLLEGE OF JACKSON

JACKSON, Mich. – Baker College of Jackson is enrolling students for 2014 summer and fall quarters, with summer classes beginning Monday, June 30, and fall classes beginning Monday, Sept. 29. Registration continues through the first week of classes.

“This can be a good time to assess your career goals and whether additional education will help you achieve them,” said Patricia A. Kaufman, Ed.D., Baker College of Jackson president. “With Baker College’s convenient class schedules for more than 150 high-demand career programs, summer and fall are great times to get started, brush up on some critical job skills or even take those last few classes to complete a degree or certificate program.”

Bachelor’s, associate and certificate career programs offered at Baker’s Jackson campus include mechanical engineering, practical nurse certificate, paralegal, P-12 special education, cyber security, Linux/Unix systems technology, information systems, criminal justice, 9-1-1 telecommunications, corrections officer certification, early childhood education, human services, medical assistant, marketing, management, accounting, teacher preparation, radiation therapy, veterinary technology, health information technology, surgical technology and several computer information systems programs.

Financial assistance is available to students, including scholarships, grants, low-interest loans and work-study programs.
