Kids Camp is the place to be this summer! Each week campers explore a new theme through exciting games, crafts, sports, special events and activities. We swim daily and take a field trip every Wednesday. The Saline Rec Center, our home base at Tefft Park, has so much to offer campers: nature trails, tennis courts, sand volleyball, disc golf, soccer, ball fields, outdoor pavilion, indoor gymnasium, full aquatics center, art room, table tennis and more! There is trully something for everyone.
Camper Groups and Staff: Campers are placed in groups of no more than 10 based on their age. Each group is led by a trained senior counselor with assistance from a junior counselor. All staff are Red Cross CPR, AED, First Aid and Basic Water Rescue certified and undergo a thorough screening process including background check. Staff also complete a 30 hour training program.
Camp Hours: The camp is open from 7 am – 6 pm Monday thru Friday. Drop off and pick up is flexible. We encourage campers to arrive by 9 am so they don’t miss any great activities.
Downloads and Info: All campers must have a Camper Information Form on file. This form, as well as the Parent Handbook, is available for download at www.cityofsaline.org/parks and for pick up at the Rec Center.
