Saline Varsity Blues High School Auditions!
(Saline, MI August 2012) Saline Varsity Blues announces its
auditions for their 30th Anniversary 2012-13 season for any
high-school aged student. Auditions will be held on September 11th and 12th from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the
Liberty School Auditorium.
All current and prospective VB members must attend both auditions to be considered.
One evening is for
the dance portion and one evening for the vocal portion.
Dress casual for the
dance audition and prepare a song for the vocal audition.
Saline Varsity Blues is a non-profit, performing show choir
located in Saline, MI. Performances include three shows in July and two shows
in December along with an exciting national tour for the VB (high school) cast.
Auditions for their Kids’ cast (grades 1 - 4) and Junior Varsity cast (grades 5
– 8) are held in the spring.

Saline Area Schools is a public schools system encompassing kindergarten through 12th grade. The school system educates roughly 5,000 students at seven facilities. Elementary Schools include Woodland Meadows, Harvest and Pleasant Ridge, each of which are kindergarten through third grade buildings. Heritage School educates fourth and fifth-graders. Older students attend Saline Middle School for sixth through eighth grade, and Saline High School from grades nine through twelve. The high school is considered to be one of the most extensive in Washtenaw County – it has two gymnasiums, an auditorium and its own television studio. Saline Schools serves students living in Saline, Pittsfield Township and York Township.
