DESCRIPTION:If you&rsquo\;ve never heard a real owl\, or for that matter 
 seen one up close\, then you don&rsquo\;t want to miss out on this fasci
 nating nature walk. Join our naturalist for a 30-45 minute walk along th
 e woods. Owls will be called &hellip\; listen closely to see if they res
 pond. Hopefully you&rsquo\;ll see one up on his perch\, wide-eyed and re
 gal as he surveys his woods. After the hike\, stick around for a bonfire
  and s&lsquo\;mores and storytelling.\nWear comfortable shoes and dress 
 for the weather as you will be outside for the duration. Event is held r
 ain or shine. No pre-registration is required. Bring something to drink\
 , a roasting stick if you have one\, camp chair\, flashlight or miner&rs
 quo\;s cap and a great outdoor or nature story to share.\nThere are Owl 
 Prowls taking place at numerous state parks in the metropolitan Detroit

 complete listing.\nThe Owl Prowl program is FREE\, however a Recreation 
 Passport is required for vehicles entering any Michigan State Park. The 
 $10 Recreation Passport is available when renewing your license tabs at
