More About Saline Recreation Center
The Saline Recreation Center is a clean and affordable family friendly community center. This rec center welcomes both residents and non-residents to enjoy the facility or its programs, and is minutes from Ann Arbor, Milan, Ypsilanti and Pittsfield Township. The Rec Center features a state-of-the-art cardio fitness room with brand new equipment, a nautilus circuit room, a free weights room, racquetball court, two pools with ADA accessible ramps, hot tub, gymnasium, family locker room, private showers, meeting rooms for rent, birthday party room on the pool deck, Kids Corner childcare (free for members), lighted tennis courts, sand volleyball, disc golf, picnic areas, pavilion, playstructures, walk-jog-bike trail that links Saline to Ann Arbor and more. The Rec Center has personal trainers available for fitness assessments and workout plans to help members reach their fitness goals. A unique variety of fitness classes are offered, along with youth leagues, instructional classes, seasonal special events like Springfest, Health Fairs and the summer Movie in the Park series. Check the website for the schedule of events. Membership packages are available by the month or yearly enrollment. Daily passes are sold for $8 adults and $5 youth/seniors.

REC CENTER CROWDS SATURDAY MARCH 24
The Mom 2 Mom Sale is this Saturday from 9 am-1 pm. Here’s some tips for Rec Center visitors:
• Parking: For those of you taking classes, swimming lessons or working out, arrive a few minutes early to get a parking spot. You must park in legal parking spaces only. Overflow parking is available at the north softball fields by Textile Rd, along the shoulder of Woodland Dr, and across the street in the Legacy Heights subdivision. Those illegally parked will be subject to ticketing and towing
• Layout: The gymnasium will house 87 tables of deals. Large items will be located in the Multipurpose Room across from the gym. Strollers, car seats and bikes will be located in the Racquetball Court on the west gym hallway.
• Admission is $1. Strollers are welcome. All shoppers must enter and exit through the back doors of the Rec Center near the tennis courts.
• Concessions: Donuts and hot pretzels from Benny’s Bakery will be available for sale in the morning. There will be Domino’s pizza sold starting at 11am. There will also be coffee, pop, juice boxes, water and other snacks available for purchase.
