This Saturday, the Friends of Saline District Library will host its monthly Bag Sale in the library from 10 am to 2 pm. The sale is held in the Brecon Room, inside the library, 555 Maple Rd., Saline. Patrons may fill a standard size grocery bag (or reusable equivalent) with any sale materials for $5.00 (mostly books, but also including CDs, DVDs, VHS, audiobooks, and, occasionally, games and puzzles) for $5. A second bag may be filled for free!
The Corner Book Shop, also operated by the Friends, will be open. Many more items may be purchased there - all reasonably priced, most between 25 cents and $1, although special items are priced accordingly.

Friends of the Library is a volunteer group that supports and promotes the Saline district library and offers a range of projects and programs throughout the year. The group operates the Corner Book Shop, which is in the front lobby of the library. It offers a wide range of items, including used books, music and movies and also has a bag sale of used books each month.
