Saline District Library's annual summer reading kick-off will be on Father's Day this year, so bring Dad! Sign-up for all ages, check out books, eat ice cream from the Saline Area Lions Club, listen to music on the patio, bring can goods for Saline Area Social Services (which can be used for any overdue fines) and come with your camera to have your photo taken with a special guest star. Hint: he is big and red.

More About Saline District Library
Nestled in 14 wooded acres in Saline, the Saline District Library was recently expanded and is now a 33,000-square-foot building housing more than 95,000 books, DVDs, music CDs, audiobooks, newspapers and magazines. The library also offers usage of computers, Internet access and online databases. Programs include story hours, summer reading, craft workshops, book discussions groups, lectures and more. The library features the Saline History room for local history buffs and also exhibits art throughout the year.
