Tim Horton's, the popular doughnut and coffee chain, is offering a printable coupon on its website redeemable for a free doughnut with any other purchase Friday, which is National Donut Day.

National Donut Day, celebrated the first Friday of June each year, was established in 1938 by the Chicago Salvation Army to honor women who served doughnuts to soldiers during World War I, according to a news release from Dunkin' Donuts.
