Severe Thunderstorm Watch In Effect Until 8 p.m.
Storms are expected to roll through Saline this afternoon and through the evening.
The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for portions of southeast Michigan, including Saline.
According to the alert, there is a risk of severe storms this afternoon and through the evening.
"Damaging wind gusts over 60 mph and 1-inch hail will be the primary threats, although an isolated tornado will be possible as well," the alert states.

Heavy rainfall is also expected with the storms.
