Lodi Voters Stick With Status Quo

All seven members of the Lodi Board were selected by voters in Tuesday's primary.

Lodi Township voters stayed with Supervisor Jan Godek in Tuesday's primary vote.

Godek survived challenges from fellow Republican candidates Jeffrey Feldkamp and Karen Edman. Godek finished with 392 votes. Feldkamp was second with 220 votes. Edman was a distant third. Feldkamp gave Godek a battle in the first precinct, but Godek was the landslide choice in the second and third precincts.

Voters also re-elected Clerk Elaine Masters and Treasurer Michelle Foley and trustees Margaret Canham-Keel, William Lindemann, Donald Rentschler and Byron Staebler, none of whom were challenged.

With no Democratic candidates on the ballot, all seven members of the board have a clear path to victory in the November election.

Here are the unofficial results from Washtenaw County.
