What a WONDERFUL greeting to get from a truly exemplary Saline High student! Congratulations on being named a National Merit Finalist; Michigan State University is fortunate to have our "best and brightest" among their next freshman class! Thank you for sharing in this accomplishment (and making Saline Schools justifiably proud in the process).

Let me get this straight... you're a National Merit Scholar and you have decided that, of all the colleges in the world, you are going to attend Michigan State?

Yep, Michigan State is the (affordable) place for me. Most Ivy league schools and borderline Ivy League schools (like University of Chicago and Vassar, both of which are schools that I was very much interested in) do not accept AP credit, and that was a major turn-off for me. I'd much rather make it through undergraduate work in 3 years and save enough money to study abroad and go to a higher caliber and more expensive school for grad work.
